Mézes-Kert 2002 Kft. (Honey Garden 2002 Ltd.) is one of the leading honey processing companies

in Hungary. During the production we use 100% pure Hungarian honey purchased directly from

local beekeepers. No preservatives, flavorings or additives of any kind are used in purchased and

processed honey – this fact is guaranteed by our own laboratory, each lot of honey is analyzed

for residues of antibiotics by a certified laboratory. The company adopts IFS quality assurance

and managements system. Our products meet the highest quality requirements; are well known

inland (in HoReCa sector, in supermarket chains) and in other European countries (e.g.: Sweden,

U.K., Latvia); and we have good business relationship with Japanese importers too.

Products

Acacia honey and polyflora honey with excellent quality exclusively come from Hungary.

The smell of our acacia honey is mild, its taste is sweeter than that of most kinds of mono-

honey, while its acid content is lower than that of them. Our acacia honey is of golden colour,

rich, smooth and very tasty. Polyflora honey is robust in flavour and comes from a large vari-

ety of floral sources; generally contains slightly more vitamins and antioxidants compared to

other honeys that are lighter in colour.

We bring in this honey in 250g (new products are: acacia honey with propolis, acacia honey with

pollen and acacia honey with royal jelly) and 500g jars and in 10g, 20g sachets (which are ideal

for portion catering), we could offer honey in bulk too . As we strive for having a good rela-

tionship with our customers we are partners in fulfilling individual demands, e.g. private label

is available also.
